To test your device, follow these steps:
On the property dashboard, choose the device you want to test.
On the device dashboard, you should see a "Test" button. Note that this is not applicable for Water Leak + Freeze detectors.
Tap the test button and confirm your action. Ensure you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
The test can be very loud. Only test when no one is sleeping, and do not stand too close to the device.

Test a smoke alarm by using the test button. This will will ensure an accurate and complete test of your alarm(s).
Some need to hold for five seconds and others require a single push. Still no sound? You should replace it every 10 years. Check the date code on the back of the unit.
